Pre – Production
Pre-production is the phase of further developing ideas and planning prior to the process of production.
Like all great projects, the success is in the planning. This section gives an overview of the different steps involved in the Pre-production process and how each step helps to develop a roadmap on which to base the further production stages.
Post – Production
It is often referred to simply as post, e.g. "We can sort that out in the post".
Post-production is the third and final major phase of the production process. There are many things which can happen in post-production. In some cases post-production is relatively straightforward, consisting of choosing and arranging footage in the correct sequence. In most cases, however, post-production is a time-consuming job taking longer than the actual production phase.
